Say Hello To The Next Generation of Full-Auto Greatness
For Nerf lovers who are looking for a true battle experience, the Nerf Stampede ECS-50 is sure to turn you into a real warrior. The Stampede ECS is a fully automatic rifle, so you no longer have to stop to load your ammo and cock the gun to fire: Simply insert the clip, pull the trigger, and the gun blasts out an amazing 3 darts per second. By combing the ease of the automatic system with some awesome accessories in the Stampede ECS, Nerf has raised the bar yet again!
It Looks, Feels Like a Man’s Nerf Gun
This gun is made with realism of combat in mind and the accessories make it perfect for all sorts of battle situations. One of the best things about the Stampede is that it is designed so you can use it for either stealth or offensive attacks. The included bipod functions as both a stand, so you can stay stationary and attack your friends from the ground, and as a handle, so you can walk and shoot at the same time. You can shift from attack to defensive mode with the blast shield that helps you fend off attacks from your friends. The package includes three extended 18-dart clips and one 6-dart clip, so you have plenty of darts on hand and a quick and easy way to reload them.[easyazon_block add_to_cart=”default” align=”right” asin=”B003774W6Q” cloaking=”default” layout=”left” localization=”default” locale=”US” nofollow=”default” new_window=”default” tag=”126p86-20″]
The Stampede ECS is a great gun for fans that enjoyed the N-Strike Vulcan and Recon CS-6, as both dart guns have features similar to the Stampede. The Vulcan is similar in function, as it also is a fully automatic Nerf gun, and the Recon shares a similar grip and clip location.
Almost Too Big?
The Stampede is one of the larger Nerf guns out there, comparable in size to the Vulcan, so it’s recommended mainly for older people.
The drawback to this blaster is it may also end up being more expensive to own and operate as it does require 6 D batteries that aren’t included in the package. However, this really isn’t a factor for most Nerfers.
What is The Stampede Good For?
What exactly is this blaster good for? For one (and this is a BIG one), it happens to be a great companion piece in an arsenal of mainly smaller guns, as it adds bulk and power to the collection, as well as speed.
All in all, Nerf has really outdone itself with the Stampede ECS. It is their second fully automatic dart gun, and is focused on making it feel like you have the real thing. The gun even gives a little kick back while you’re firing, adding to the fun and realism of firing such a large gun.
Another thing to note, is that by having the darts loaded through clips, instead of ammo belts (like the Vulcan), you don’t have to waste time with loading the clip into the gun, or worry about the clip itself jamming the gun while moving around – which the ammo belt on the Vulcan was notorious for doing. With the Stampede, the loading of darts is left solely to spring loaded tension of the clip, instead of a clunky gear box.
The Stampeded ECS is perfect to add to your collection of blasters and is fun for both kids and adults, and a must buy for any Nerf fan.
10 / 10 i wish it had a a extra clip slot
I think nerf is making to many auto guns its not really in the name of nerf to have all these guns the barricade, stamede and now the new dart tag automatic one (google sgnerf this is not my website but i love it) this one guy has the new nerf dart tag
It’s way better than the vulcan. but it’s really expensive, but it does come with a lot of stuff. 10/10 really good, I recommend it exspecialy to people with bad aim. It goes about 25-30 feet.
Oh and it actually does fire 3 darts per second. if u are quick enough u can fire 3 darts per second on the raider or alpha trooper; but it is more likely to jam.
read my name the gun sucks
Shut up!
read my name
im cool
I think if you need that plus so many darts to hit people youre a NOOB
stampede is the awesomest gun i have
this is replacing the vulcan
it runs through darts so quickly i wish they would make a large drum magazine. I need to carry around a bunch of clips or conserve ammo to make this weapon last a long battle
You can buy a Nerf Raider which comes with a 35 dart drum clip which fits in the Stampede.
The stampede is an excellent choice.
with a string you can dual wield it.
with the bipod you can stand you ground or launch an all out charge against the enemy and unleashing a havoc never seen by a single gun.
this gun is excellent for starters and for elder nerf users.
@stampede sucks
i know one thing named stampede that sucks… and thats you.
I have not used this gun, but one thing I will say is that the barricade feature is stupid. It just makes the gun more bulky. While any velocity mods to this gun will be complicated, I’m excited to see its potential. A more powerful spring with a gearing change (would decrease ROF) or motor upgrade (ROF same or better) could turn this thing into a force of nature!
Put the raider clip in or something and voila! But seriously does it jam at all?
THE STAMPEDE IS SO AWESOME, I DONT HAV IT BUT MY FRIEND DOES AND HE SAYS IT KIS THE SICKEST AND YOURE RIGHT IT NEVER DOES JAM, IT IS SO FRICKIN INSANE
READ FULLY FOR OVERALL DETAILS OF THE STAMPEDE (if you want REAL reasons to buy this!): I want to set a disclaimer to you all, that the stampede DOES NOT SUCK at all, by any serious terms. yes, it is quite the investment in Nerf than ever before, but for around $42-$45, you get very much; you’ll get the foregrip that goes on the rails, but it also works in an instant as a bipod (just press the button) and also a riot shield, which protects a portion of you, and has a net sight that gives you a visor to see through, while still keeping your head safe from frontal assaults. you get 60 clip system darts, one 6-shot clip, and THREE extended clips, holding 18 darts! overall, far better than the Vulcan, practically becoming the replacement of it. however, a note to remember is it does require 6 D batteries as I recall it was, and do keep in mind the shoulder stock is rather heavy due to the batteries, making it more of a heavy fire gun, not a rushing or quick pace running gun, a powerful gun to wield. still, far better deal than Vulcan, which only comes with a tripod, and one 25-shot chain put into a drum to hold the chain. no, it DOES NOT JAM, its systematically made so when you pull the trigger, it only fires off one round each pull, or you hold down for full auto, it naturally returns to its safe position the moment its done the dart it shot. plus, a special feature similar to the switch on the Vulcan, it has a safety. but, its conveniently on the side, similar to an actual gun. there’s fire, and off, in other words it won’t fire, nor use battery energy. also, a special sensor system so it will ONLY SHOOT, if there is a CLIP INSIDE. it will not fire if you say put one streamline dart in there. anyways, I hoped you got a good understanding of it, and can choose wisely and knowledgeably!
thanks buddy for the great review 🙂
I’m sorry but it is just to heavy, and if the batteries run out you are screwed.
is it as heavy as the vulcan cuz i hav it and it way 2 heavy 2 use properly?
hi jacob
do you have to buy a new clip once you finish with all of them or can you reuse the clips? I just dont want to have to buy new clips every time i use it
i think the stampede is a awsome gun its big cool shoots fast i cant wait to get for crisy
woah! the stampede is awesome, my friend is sending it to me for christmas, I can’t wait! just how heavy is it coz i’m only 11 and don’t know if i can carry it?
I already have a vulcan, so I am not going to want to shell out 60$ for some stupid copy.
awesome gun
i am getting one for christmas
It is a really good gun but is quite expensive .
It is a really good gun I love it and use it a lot.
i recommend getting a nerf vest if bying a gun like this. you can get it from amazon.com with free postage for $30
(prices can change over time)
it has a lot of convenient pockets and is specially designed for holding reload clips and darts!
hope this helps!
I have both the Vulcan and the Stamped. I like them both but I use the Vulcan for a bunker gun in my house and the Stamped I use for assaulting my friends. I paid $55 for the Vulcan and $39.99 for the Stampede. I am thinking about buying a second Stampede as it is a very well made gun and has yet to jam on me even with a 500RPM mod that makes this thing just silly. The Vulcan has been replaced and this is not that heavy even for a young kid.
I also have a few friends that come to the field by where I live and we play Nerf Wars and well just about everyone is getting or has a Stampede along with more ammo then you can shake a stick at and a pistol or two.
The Stampede is a must have for the kid young or old, and you can find it for under $40 if you just look a little.
james my 6 year old freind can easily hold the gun so dont worry
no arguement here.
Having trouble trying to get this weapon to load. Can someone walk me through the steps to charge this thing? Thanks
BEAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ive just got the Stampede for Christmas and I love it.(Even though Idont have 6D batteries)(<–fail) One things first,The stampede nor the vulcan is better,It solely depends on what you like to do.
People, I,m sorry if you think its expensive but its only $44, its not that much. This gun is well built and light, wich is good for small peoplez. The bad things about this gun(its not perfect)The 18 dart clip doesent realy work with the bipod, but thats why it has grips on the bottom, but,"BAM" its a monopod. Also the shield gets in the way of the scope.Another thing, If you get this gun buy REACHARGEABLE batteries so you dont kill like 100 dollars worth of Ds in a month.
Note All of you who think one nerf gun is the best, YOU SUCK,It depends on how you use the gun.
People. work on your orthography(correct spelling)
Woooowoooowoowowowoooooooooooowoooo
i am getting a vulcon but is this gun better at deference than the vulcon?
i was wrong about this replacing the vulcan
i also think this is the best gun but iam better with the alphatrooper but that doesnt mean that i think the stampede is worse
ok guys i have the vulcan and this and i must say stampede wins its the same price and comes with 3 clips and a small clip now this is unusual for nerf as they usually only supply the least amount possible lemme tell u sumfing i did a test earlier and i found out the stampede is lighter less bulky and more portable it fires further by about 4 feet and fires about the same speed overall get the stampede and also i am 11 and the stampede is not to heavy i wouldnt worry about things like that cos ull always grow into them
oh soz i have both i forgot to say that!
only use the 6 dart clip cos the 18 clip is to hard to move around plus u only need 1 dart to hit someone unless u r a bloody twit and cant fire a gun or r a complete wimp and cant handle the power or weight of the stampede
my cousins recon shoots further
but the new recon has a new plunger
and god is it good
hold on my stampede has just jammed
oh no wait there was a sweet wrapper in it
I just bought 2 stampede an it is AWSOME
they are my little friends
READ MY NAME STAMPEDE IS NUMBER 1 NERF GUN.
@Stampede sucks.U SUCK.
When i am bored my stampede makes me have fun.
@shutup.ur cool
Lol all the people that bought this me included are screwed
sgnerf released pics that show this with a new 50 dart clip so if we knew we could have waited
overall I love the gun and it may be heavy but it’s worth it and you need a clip in it to work it after a while
Help please !!
When firing the first dart fires fine but the rest just fail miserably and at best fall out of the barrel.
What’s the problem, any ideas ?
@CALZO.R ur darts a bit bent?
My recon fires farther and more accurate than this gun. It’s just a close range support machine gun, I think. You can’t snipe, but you can mow down people in the open, and keep others in cover. The bipod is almost useless with the long 18 clip, since it’s barely longer than the extended. Also (IMPORTANT) it takes about a second to fire the first round (the motor needs to get up to speed). Don’t ambush with this. It’s meant to be used in the open.
Nice gun but too heavy
hey mmm is it really worth buying it??
Use Rechargeable D Batteries in this awesome gun! They are little bit lighter than the not rechargeable ones. If they run off, you can recharge them! REMEMBER those are really expensive but they worth the price! And i also recommend to use at least one raider drum mag in a nerf war!
the stampede is an insane gun but it is heavy and expensive
i fused the raider and longshot with stampedge by stripping them open and exchanging the parts now my new gun got all the bullets the range and is lighter by alot ~ i shall call this buster 31 wahahahaha
this gun kicks dirt in the face of a vulcun
the vulcun shots long and has a better aim then the stampede and holds more bolts.
@ noobslaer117
you can put the extra clips in the slot where the aiming sight is. It looks weird but it does work
I’m sorry to burst most people’s bubbles, but the stampede jams. I have it, and to be honest, I bought it just two days ago, and it’s jammed about 5 times. It’s not the best. Despite most of youse guys’ comments, the Spectre is the best. I can shoot faster with my spectre, it’s softer with my spectre, it’s not as expensive with the Spectre, it’s lighter with my spectre, and it’s more accurate with my Spectre. And the spectre is versatile, like the Recon. (Except the Recon stinks – I have it as well, and it’s the worst). Spectre is better than this. Although, when I got it, I couldn’t resist looking at the huge box, with the extra 40 darts, AND on sale. Who wouldn’t? But it’s not as great as it seems. I’m givin it a 7/10.
For those of you who are worried about batteries don’t worry. I have had this gun for 6 konths and i have yet to kill the batteries.
no matter what u say one of the best guns is recon and the stampede jams alot
I have the vulcan and the stampede and the stampede is WAY? better. It shoots farther, better scope more accurate and has an awesome bipod. And you dont need to buy new clips every time for the stampede, Jak.
Best nerf gun ever. I gotta get it!!!!!
which should i get? The stampede or the vulcun? Please help me. I can’t decide.
i’m stuck between 2 guns, the stampede and the nitron. which one should i get?
you should get the stampede, the vortex series is nerfs’ worst idea (no offence)
ikr… but yeah. im getting 1 this christmas :L
Which is better: Stampede ECS or Vulcan EBF-25? I am getting the Stampede for Christmas and my friend has a Vulcan EBF-25 and it jams every five shots, but does the Stampede ECS jam a whole lot and more than the Vulcan EBF-25?
If you want to get a nerf stampede for free buy it at marshalls at only $34.99 you will also see some other nerf guns at a cheap price. . P.S.THIS IS A MUST BUY AND F*** ALL STAMPEDE HATERS!
If you use the Vulcan correctly, it is WAY better than the Stampede. You can fire one shot with the Vulcan almost silently. A perfect sniper with the tripod. The Stampede cannot do that. If you think the Vulcan is too heavy, MAN UP! If that is too hard for you, stand in front of my Vulcan with your Nitefinder and see who wins. I can reload faster with my Vulcan than most people (not those people who can do things like speed stack cups in 6 seconds, but you catch my drift) can with their Stampedes. The Stampede jams like crazy. If you use the ammo box (using it correctly) it will never jam. If you don’t believe me about any of this, challenge me to a NERF WAR. Stampede vs. Vulcan. Personally, I don’t think you’ll win.
which is better? stampede or vulcan?
stampede
i have 1 but ithink the raider is better.
The stampede is better. The stampede is cheaper and it comes with 3 18-cipacity clips and 1 6-cipacity clip. And 60 darts, and the Vulcan takes a long time to load. The Vulcan comes with 25 darts. The stampede could blow the Vulcan away in minutes.
The stampede is awsomly awesome! READ MY NAME!!!
@ts20fan the Vulcan is NOT better then the stampede.
I got my stampede for $50 at Wal-Mart and it was totally worth the money. I have the vulcan and the stampede is slightly better ( but I can’t be sure I got my vulcan used at a yard sale for $1)(best deal ever!!!).
Pretty nice post. I just stumbled upon your weblog and wanted to say that I have truly loved surfing around your weblog posts. After all I?ll be subscribing on your rss feed and I hope you write again very soon!
Stampede Ecs Rocks! I Really Like it!!
I made a strap for mine since it is quite bulky once all 6(!) D-Cells are in. I used a strap from a Mini laptop bag and connected them to the Stampede via some mini carbiners from Wal-Mart, and voila, easy to carry! I use the 35 dart drum from my Raider and it did not jam. Works quite nicely, 18 darts is okay, but having 35 on tap is a lot better. I find the riot shield unwieldy, so I just use the gun without it. The drum works perfect with the Bipod since it does not stick down as far as the 18 dart extended mag which sticks down farther than the bipod, rendering it useless. Overall, decent range and firing rate. This gun definitely does not suck. I got mine on clearance at Target for $25. Well worth it!
Hey guys can someone please tell me what to do? I can either buy a stampede or a reyven but the reyven co,es with a free vulcan please help I’m getting insomnia trying to decide witch one to get
Guys you do realise that putting batteries in the fridge for a couple of days recharges them. After about 50 recharges they start to run out quicker but it will only cause problems after about 250 recharges then they start running out in about half the amount of time it takes for brand new batteries to run out. Hope this helps.
U guys do no that Sam da man is Australian
If you want to use the raider clip you need to hold it left handed and it looks absolutely awesome with the longshot clip attached!
scope doesnt work with shield though
its a little bit too loud for sniping too though
The only reason i load up on nerf guns is cuz my parents are dead overprotective and im probably never going to be allowed to own an airsoft gun. nerf guns are still fun.
My stampede is losing range
No, your stampede loses batteries.
The stampede is awesome I have it and I use it as my primary nerf gun
this is an awesome gun!!! however, if u are the sort of person that is wry of their darts and dont want to lose them, i would recommend a gun such as the barricade or the deploy. also for those who prefer light nerf guns, i also wouldnt say this is the right gun for u. if u are somone who just likes to cover their enemys in darts from head to toe, this is the pefect gun for u!
@ CALZO I think the reason the other darts fall out becasue you use full auto too much, I used to have a problem with the stampede and it would jam every 3 darts, then when i stopped using full auto the problem stopped. P.S people who are idiotic can’t see the picture which is on the left side.
it says like, 3 darts then one crossed out. you should always let the stampede take a break every three darts, it literally SAYS!!!!Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez.
This thing sucks. It’s a Vulcan with clips
What’s this gun good for is the comment up there well what isn’t it good for part from being concealed weapon in which case it fails at it’s the type of gun instantly winning nerf wars I don’t do nerf wars and never have cos I have a sis and my friends think nerf is crap so I’ll never experience joy of a nerf war
at for both defence and rushing, but if you need more than one bullet, you are going to die, because you stink.
I like this gun, but will only use in time of peril
(almost never)
P.S. put the rail from the raider on it, if you suck at aiming, that is. :)(:
Vulcan and stampede suck you can hardly mod them and they are expensive and their mods are complicated as switching an elephant head with a blue whale head and both the creatures to still be alive a.k.a they suck minecraft rocks
mines fully modded with a 18 volt battery pack, all locks and wiring gutted,AR removed, dead spaces filled and mine fires suckers, taggers, and the rest without any modds to the clip or barrel
